Welcome to DJ Z’s story. Since our founding in 2023, we’ve been proud to serve the vibrant communities from Colorado Springs to Denver, bringing energy, music, and unforgettable moments to every event we touch.

What began as a dream quickly turned into reality—with nothing more than two old passive speakers, a lot of heart, and little to no business experience. We started small, learning as we went, driven by making memories last forever.

Over time, our dedication paid off. We’ve had the privilege of collaborating with incredible organizations like James Irwin Charter Schools and the Filipino-American Community of Colorado (FACC), building relationships that inspire us to keep raising the bar.

Our journey is a testament to hard work, growth, and the power of community. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or are just discovering DJ Z, we’re excited to share this adventure with you.

DJ Z's YouTube channel was created, with a mission to deliver informational videos on karaoke systems, sound systems, and more!. Every video we uploaded since the beginning received outstanding results.

First professional PA Speakers Purchased

On September 15, 2023, DJ Z took a major step forward with the purchase of our first professional PA speakers, the Harbinger V2315. This upgrade marked a turning point in our journey, elevating the quality of our sound and enhancing the experience we bring to every event.
Additional professional PA Speakers Purchased
October 20, 2023
On October 20, 2023, DJ Z expanded its setup with the addition of the Harbinger V2308 speakers, further enhancing our sound capabilities. While these speakers served us well, they have since been retired and upgraded to the more advanced Harbinger V2408, ensuring we continue to deliver the best audio experience possible.

First Digital Mixer Purchased

On September 26, 2024, DJ Z made a significant upgrade by acquiring our first digital mixer, the Yamaha 01v96. This milestone marked a new level of precision and versatility in delivering high-quality sound for every event.
Partnership with Filipino American Community of Colorado Completed

In October 2024, DJ Z proudly began a partnership with the vibrant Filipino-American community of Colorado. This dynamic and diverse community celebrates its rich cultural heritage while fostering a sense of unity and support among its members. Through this collaboration, I aim to contribute to their events and initiatives, bringing music and energy to gatherings that honor Filipino traditions and build stronger connections within the community.
DJ Z officially formed as a LLC, DJ Z LLC

On December 15, 2024 DJ Z recognizing the need for a stronger foundation to support future growth, DJ Z officially became an LLC in late 2024. This transition marked a significant milestone, signaling a commitment to professionalism and sustainability. With the tagline "Leveling up to serve you better—same great service, now with a stronger foundation!", the move to an LLC ensured greater reliability for clients while paving the way for expanded services and new opportunities.

In early 2025, DJ Z upgraded its setup with the Numark Platinum FX DJ controller. Known for its versatility and professional features, this controller enhances DJ Z’s ability to deliver seamless mixes and dynamic performances. The addition reflects DJ Z’s commitment to staying current with top-tier equipment and providing exceptional service at every event.

On January 1st, 2025, DJ Z LLC revealed their new logo! To kick off 2025, DJ Z unveiled a bold new logo, reflecting its growth and transformation. The original logo, a nod to its humble beginnings, has evolved into a sleek, modern design that captures the vibrant energy DJ Z brings to every event.

On January 8th, 2025, the Filipino-American Community of Colorado agreed with DJ Z LLC to renew their partnership.
DJ Z LLC Filed for a EIN (Employee Id Number)

In early 2025, DJ Z filed for an Employer Identification Number (EIN) as part of becoming an LLC. This key step establishes DJ Z as a professional entity, streamlining operations and paving the way for future growth in the live sound and DJ industry.
DJ Z LLC Filed for a BOIR (Beneficial Owner Information Report)

In early 2025, DJ Z filed for a Business Occupational/Industry Registration (BOIR) to meet regulatory requirements and solidify its LLC status. This step ensures compliance while reinforcing DJ Z’s commitment to professionalism and growth in the live sound and DJ industry.

First official track from DJ Z Released

on January 30, 2025, DJ Z is taking the next step—releasing his first-ever original EDM track. This instrumental debut is a testament to the journey, packed with energy, rhythm, and the same commitment to quality that built DJ Z’s reputation.
Harbinger V2315 & V2408 Officially Discontinued by DJ Z
February 23, 2025
DJ Z started with Harbinger V2315 speakers in 2023, later adding the V2408 for expansion. These budget-friendly speakers served well in the early days but were eventually replaced for better performance.

In February 2025, DJ Z traded in all Harbinger speakers for a pair of JBL EON 712s, marking a major upgrade in sound quality. Moving forward, DJ Z will no longer use Harbinger products, except for the Harbinger amplifier for monitors and the Harbinger VS12 as our subwoofer.
JBL EON 712: The New Sound Standard for DJ Z

In February 2025, DJ Z upgraded to a used pair of JBL EON 712 speakers, replacing the retired Harbinger V2315 and V2408. Known for their superior clarity, deeper bass, and powerful DSP features, the EON 712s provide a significant boost in sound quality and reliability. This upgrade ensures a better performance at every event, reinforcing DJ Z’s commitment to delivering top-tier audio experiences.
